Please note the property is unfortunately unsuitable for those with mobility issues due to the bathrooms being located on the first floor and steps between the kitchen, hallway and conservatory. 

The lower level of the garden is enclosed with fencing to at least 3ft in height. The upper level is accessed via gated stone steps mostly laid to lawn. It is surrounded by dry stone walls of varying height which is low in some places and there are some significant changes to the ground level below, it is therefore recommended that children and pets are supervised at all times when accessing this level. 

T&C's

Payment terms - 25% of the booking total is required to confirm your booking. This includes a 20% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to your check in date. Non payment by this date will result in cancellation of your booking and the amount paid being refunded, minus the 20% non-refundable deposit.

Cancellation - In the event of cancellation by the guest up to 5 days before check in date, the amount paid will be refunded minus the 20% non-refundable deposit. In the event of cancellation by Nordlys Cottage, the amount paid will be refunded in full or alternative dates of equivalent value offered, subject to availability and depending on the customers choice.

Lost Property - We do not accept liability for any items lost or left behind. We will endeavour to keep any personal belongings for 1 week after finding and will contact the guest if we can identify an item as belonging to them. Please notify us as soon as possible if you believe you had left something at the property. Return postage costs must be covered by the guest. Unfortunately due to hygiene and postal restrictions, we are unable to keep or return any consumables, perishables, personal care items or liquids.

Rules

01) No smoking

02) Well behaved dogs are welcome providing we are made aware prior to your stay. Please inform us on arrival if you have not already done so. Dogs must be kept under control at all times and must have their own beds. You must also provide bedding and/or throws to protect our soft furnishings, if they are likely to be in contact with these. Please ensure all waste is bagged, picked up and disposed of in the black bin.

03) Our waste water is to a septic tank therefore please don’t use any bleach containing products and only toilet roll is to be flushed down the toilets. No sanitary items, wipes, paper towels, hair, food, cotton balls/swabs ETC or “flushable” items.

04) Please be respectful of our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum where possible. We don’t allow parties, events, or for the property to be used for the creation of commercial photos or videos.

05) Inform us if any accidents, losses, breakages or damages occur when they happen so we can try to rectify this in time for our next guests.

06) Leave the property neat and tidy.
